play australia design awardsThe Play Australia Design Awards allow us the opportunity to recognise and acknowledge the innovation and commitment of many in our industry.

Through these awards we aim:

  • To support good practice and innovation in the design of playspaces.
  • To acknowledge good practice in the provision of quality play environments for children and young people.
  • To encourage cost effective good play practices.
  • To promote environmentally supportive play environments.
  • To encourage greater commitment of the development of quality play opportunities for children and young people.

Play Australia is currently working on the new format of these Awards and will advise members when they will be held for the first time.

Previously PRAV (Play Australia) together with Parks and Leisure Australia organised the 'PRAV and PLA Playgrounds Design Awards'. Parks and Leisure Australia created a new PLA Design Award and if you are interested to participate  please visit their website.
