This FREE\, 5 hour workshop brings together s taff and management from early childhood services for a hands-on opportunity for learning and explor ation on designing and maintaining outdoor play sp aces.

Across the session\, you’ll dive into how outdoo r play supports children’s development\, and gain practical knowledge in planning and managing outdo or play spaces — covering:

• Playwork design elements to support conditions for play

• Playground standards and compliance

\n \n

• A risk managemen t lens to support informed decision-making includi ng maintenance inspections.

Got plans for your outdoo r area? Bring a map or plan of your service’s outd oor space and receive personalised\, practical adv ice from a professional play space designer on the day. A great chance to get expert eyes on your sp ace and walk away with real ideas you can act on. A practical exercise will be undertaken in options for improving your own outdoor play space.
