Next VIC Local Government Play Network

Play Australia and the City of Moreland invite PLAY AUSTRALIA MEMBERS to attend the next LOCAL GOVERNMENT PLAY NETWORK in Victoria on Wednesday 12 July 2017 commencing at 10.30am and finishing at 12.30pm.

We will meet at CERES Lower Merri Room (See map ref. K2) Cnr Roberts & Stewart Streets, Brunswick East, VIC 3057. Car parking is available on site.

The City of Moreland has kindly agreed to host this meeting of the LGPN in Victoria.

This program will discuss the highly contentious issue of signage. There has been lots of discussion across the country about the value of signage in parks and playgrounds over the last 12 months, and whilst Play Australia has heard this conversation, we need the further  input of members to develop  a position which will support councils in dealing with this highly divisive issue. Come along and contribute towards the debate and help us devise a strategy to assist our members in managing this difficult issue.

We will then walk to one of the City of Moreland’s recent playground achievements at Kirkdale Park via the Merri Creek Trail so bring your walking shoes for a very short walk along one of Melbourne’s best inner-city creek trails.
