Call for Feedback.

 

Our South Australian members were invited to a networking event last month and those that attended gave feedback about current issues impacting on play and play space development in South Australia.

 

One issue identified were the risk assessments taking place in Education,  that are based on work health and safety, and perceived by some as inhibiting play spaces and children’s play.

 

In response to this, Play Australia is prepared to develop a position paper on the issue that we can then use as a catalyst for discussion at State level.  

 

We are keen to hear from you on the issues you feel are impacting play, in particular your experience with the risk assessment process and requirements that are impacting on children’s play. 

 

Case studies are welcome and we can de-dentify them.

A first draft of the paper will then be circulated by early November for your feedback.
