Play Australia announced on International Day of Play in June last year our intention to establish a new forum for members focussed on Playwork. This forum will provide a regular quarterly meeting space for members using the playwork methodology in their practice or advocating for playwork.
On Tuesday 3 March, 7.30 pm AEDST, we are hosting an information session and discussion on the forum, all members welcome to participate. Meeting will be recorded! Log on and meet with co-chairs David and Kylie and find your tribe!
We are also establishing a fortnightly reflective practice playwork session for those directly working in day-to-day contact with children. This will be hosted by Gabe Townsend for the Venny, on behalf of Play Australia, and more details to follow on that.
