Designing Play - Clonlea Park, SA

Registration is closed for this event
Play Australia is partnering with Nature Play SA for our next SA Network Event. Clonlea Reserve is the premier park in Gawler and has gone through some exciting changes over recent months. The Town of Gawler will host in association with Ted Farrell landscape contractor.

The Town of Gawler's Grant Hemmerling and landscape contractor Ted Farrell will be our guide for the event.  Clonlea Park has recreated a forgotten and barren piece of open space into a vibrant and connected hub for cross-generational play and activation.

A courageous nature based play space looks to interact and connect with the North Para River reflecting its sense of place and provide a challenging naturalised play space.

Adjacent is a contemporary skate park designed by Convic that creates a much needed destination for young people from the Gawler region. We will also visit a new structured playspace being installed at another location within the park and discuss other play developments occurring within the local region.

All members of Play Australia and any individuals interested in becoming a member of Play Australia are invited to attend. If you have any questions regarding this event please contact:  Simon Bradley 0438 045 747 OR Alicia Clutterham (08) 7420 6475.

This program looks to be of great interest so Register Now to secure your place in order not to miss out.
