Play Australia SA Network

The next meeting of the Play Australia SA Network will be hosted by the Adelaide City Council on Thursday 19th November 2015 from 9.30am til 11.30am.

We are visiting 2 play spaces within the Parklands during the event and your own transportation will be required, please refer to map attached.

We will meet at the first park, Princess Elizabeth Park, South Terrace at 9.30am where Janelle Arbon from Adelaide City Council will be providing a summary of the design and implementation processes. Janelle will be joined by Jane Barrett from Proludic along with Proludic Australia’s Managing Director Steve Walding who will be discussing the benefits of the play equipment incorporated into the project.

Following on to the second playspace, Marshmallow Park, Glen Osmond Road at 10.45am where Peter Rexeis from Adelaide City Council will discuss the recent upgrade and installation of play equipment and the refurbishment of the Community Court surfacing.

There is the option of walking between both sites (approx 20min walk) where we will be passing by the bike track, and Ray Scheuboeck from Adelaide City Council will be available to discuss the project.

As it is our final event for the year, we are inviting all attendees to join us for a lunch at Citi Zen, 401 King William Street, Adelaide, from 12pm onwards. Please note, cost of lunch is not included.

All members of Play Australia and any individuals interested in becoming a member of Play Australia are invited to attend.
