Early Years Series, Exploring how play builds brains with Bron Joslyn, Play Australia

This event is open to everyone, Members and Non Members.

We all know that brain development is at its peak in the first five years of life. We will take a deep dive into how children use play as a vehicle to expand their intelligences. Specifically, we will explore the role a supportive Early Years professional has in promoting play to build brains. We will touch on multiple intelligences and emotional intelligence rather than just a focus on the development of numeracy and literacy skills. Let’s revisit the process of brain development and how we impact children’s development by our interactions.

Bron Joslyn is a Play Australia Board Member, Service Director and Early Childhood Teacher at Diamond Creek Memorial Kindergarten, Early Childhood Consultant and Committee Member of Environmental Education in Early Childhood ‘EEEC’.
