BUSH KINDER

I was fortunate enough to hear the most inspiring presentation I have heard in early childhood for a very long time at the Play Australia AGM.  A 'Bush Kinder' right here in metropolitan Melbourne! The natural environment these children are experiencing in Westgarth, come rain, hail or shine, is a fantastic example of how getting back to basics can only enhance our children's educational journey.  I felt as a mother of two teenage children how much I wished I could turn back the clock and give my girls this wonderful experience.  Check it out at www.wgkg.vic.edu.au/bush-kinder and let's start taking our children back to nature.
