Next Play Australia South Australia Networking Event

Location: Felixstow Reserve located at Riverside Drive, Felixstow.

Play Australia are saddened to announce that the Melville Grove play space at Hectorville suffered extensive damage following a vandalism attack last week and will not be available for our networking event. The City of Norwood Payneham St Peters have kindly agreed to host our event at the recently redeveloped Felixstow Reserve located at Riverside Drive, Felixstow.

Felixstow Reserve has been fully redeveloped and includes a new wetlands system which provides a home for birds and animals while capturing, treating and storing stormwater through an Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) scheme. The recycled stormwater will be used for irrigation purposes across the eastern region of Adelaide.

The Kaurna Interpretive Trail weaves its way through the reserve providing information on the local Kaurna culture through a series of art markers created by Paul Herzich, a Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri artist and designer. There are lots of opportunities for families to explore and enjoy the outdoors, ride along the trails, utilise recreation facilities such as 3 on 3 basketball courts, netball ring and table tennis table.
